About Me

My name is Aadi Laad

I am Aadi Laad, a motivated high school student at Enloe High School (Class of 2027) with a deep-seated passion for finance and social responsibility. My journey began when I started working early in high school and realized the critical need to understand how to grow and manage money effectively.

After teaching myself the fundamentals of the stock market through independent study, I committed to sharing this knowledge with my peers. With an exceptional academic record and extensive experience in competitive finance, I am dedicated to transforming financial literacy from a theoretical subject into a practical life skill.

My Research

My research looks at how events such as interest rate changes and regulatory announcements show through options pricing, the research seeks to understand how derivative markets absorb and reflect economic uncertainty at a societal level. The findings have implications for how policymakers and regulators can better design financial systems that are stable and accessible during periods of economic issues.

Leading personal finance sessions for elementary-aged students. Building foundational skills in budgeting and saving for ages 6-11.

Kumon

Tutored Math and Reading at Kumon. In this position, I have tutored students from the

preschool ages, all the way to middle schoolers.

Policy research for US Representative Raja Krishnamoorthi. Drafted legislative briefs on small business investment and equality.

Soccer, FC Cary and NCFC

Played soccer for nearly 10 years, and eventually made the

switch to play at the classic level for NCFC including representing my middle school's soccer team.
